Court Upholds Lackawanna Charter Process

In a ruling Monday, the state Supreme Court said political parties in Lackawanna County can keep using the county home rule charter to fill vacancies on the Board of Commissioners. The ruling means Brenda Sacco can take the office until the winner of an upcoming special election is certified. She's not a candidate in that election. Read Full Article »
