Amazon Web Services will operate the Project Hazelnut hyperscale data center if the project eventually gets approved in northeast Pennsylvania’s Hazle Township. Opponents who regularly attend local government meetings said they have known it for months, even though Amazon, NorthPoint Development and state and local government leaders refuse to confirm it.
