Warning Signs for Philadelphia Mayor Parker

Since the dust settled on the 2024 campaign, I’ve been concerned that Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker’s re-election in 2027 was not a sure thing.

In conversations with Democrats, both on-air and off-air when I’m a commentator on Philadelphia television news programs, I’ve raised my concerns. Candidly, I raise them not only as an analyst, but as someone born and raised in Philly, with family and friends still living there – and as someone who respects Parker’s approach.
